He couldn't (or at least shouldn't) start for a contender. Old, slow, one-dimensional players come off the bench for contenders. He's the most frustrating player on the team. He's completely inept in the post anymore. He walks so much he should be wearing an AIDS ribbon and looking for sponsors.

Z may be slow but he is solid...good rebounder, shot blocker, passer, shooter. He isn't an all-star anymore but he isn't a scrub either.

At this point in his career, he shouldn't be a #2 option like he is here though...more like a 3rd/4th option type guy

Z is a solid pick and pop type guy. We had problems running it when there was a stick on Z. Add another STRONG slasher and watch him open it up.

Criticize Z all you want but he was phenomenal for the greater part of this season. When we put him in situations that did not play to his strengths (back down) he failed. When we put him in pick and pops he thrived. Don't confuse failure with futility.

I agree that he walks too much (of course that's largely because he gets bumped off the spot too often), but he's a good rebounder and strangely enough, he's good defensively. That alone would get him starting for a bunch of teams.

Z has AIDS? I don't understand that whole aids ribbon thing.

It still does not make sense in regards to Z. It is at best a misused metaphor
