This year the conference finals feature some of the old championship franchises. of the four possibilities, whats your preference as a fan?

spurs: defending champs, "boring"
celtics: cocky, "boston hate"
pistons: "boring", no superstars
lakers: kobe "hate", stole gasol

its not about our opinion...its about Sterns opinion and what sells. he has dollar signs in his eyes when he thinks about Celtics-Lakers.

As long as the Pistons make it to the Finals, i'm cool with either rematch however leaning slightly towards SAS

Would love to see Celts/Lakers. Would wonder if the Lakers domination of such a series would affect the ratings any.

1: Pistons vs Lakers (continuing this little rivalry, plus don't have to listen to people bitch about ratings.)

2: Pistons vs Spurs (chance to avenge 05, f*ck the ratings at least it was close unlike the last few finals.)

3: Celtics vs. Lakers (If the Pistons hadn't made it this far this would be the one to see for me.)

4: Celtics vs. Spurs (least favorite, but it still has a lot going for it. I like a black and blue rough series)

I think the league wants
1: Bos vs La
2: Det vs. La
3: Bos vs. SA
4: Det vs. SA

but f*ck em, go Pistons

i'm a piston's fan so i obviously want them in the finals. I really wanted to see pistons-hornets but obviously that can't happen. I'll pull for the lakers now though.

I really don't want the spurs. The pistons are better then they were when the Spurs went 7 games with them, and the spurs are a worse team now. They really don't spark my interest as far as it goes talent wise. Even more so then that The flop and foul strategy they use is not what I want from another team either. From Duncan's constant uncalled offarm, Manu's flopping and Bowen's deliberate attempts to injure players, I find myself hoping they get hurt even more then they lose a game. Although I'd love to see Maxiell beat the hell out of Bowen, I'd rather watch the pistons play basketball against the lakers and watch some UFC later.

Are you out of your mind? Kobe doesnt bring the numbers that Tim Duncan and the dynamic trio bring. Duncan/ Ginobili/ Parker tandem the most marketable triple threat since 1998.

seems like celtics vs spurs would be most exciting .....kg vs duncan battle of the two best pf's , ray allen vs manu , pierce vs bowen and the defensive minded rondo battling tony parker ...seems like the matchup for the ages.

Thank you to all the Spurs/Pistons finals supporters....I thought I was the only one

2005 Finals was one of the best Finals I'd seen (and I've been watching since Jordan in '91). Anyone who thought it was boring does not appreciate good competitive basketball between two great teams.
And i'd love a rematch...this time w/ the Pistons coming out on top

Pistons/Spurs!!

The same way LeBron = Ratings?

Yeah......

One player doesn't bring in the ratings, it was proven last Finals.
