Lynx future > Timberwolves future?
They are on right now and looking pretty damn good. Our third round pick Charde Houston is beasting. It looks like they have drafted extremely well over the last couple of years.

I watched the last quarter or so. I'm kind of excited for this team.

If picking a game to go to, I might recommend Jun 10 vs Connecticut. Watch former Gopher Lindsey Whalen, and its on ESPN2, our only game on ESPN all year.

The Lynx are unlucky just like the Wolves. We tied for the worst record and got the third pick and missed out on Candace Parker.

We all know that was a conspiracy. Come on. the Sparks getting the number 1 pick? The one year when their franchise player is gone they conveniently land the number 1 pick. Leslie is getting old and they about to regulated to mediocrity but by a stoke of amazing luck LA gets one the best WNBA players of this generation. BULLSHIN!

When they only had 8 teams they had a pretty good talent base and then the expansion diluted it somewhat for a number of years.
I would have to agree to some extent....what you have to realize is that the WNBA made so many womens dreams a reality that it just made business sense across the board to expand....there was so many woman coming out of college that wanted to play and were talented....they wanted to be the next cheryl miller....people wanted a piece of the pie they wanted to own a team too....

Agreed. My thoughts were that at the time there were enough talent to spread evenly with Swoops, Cooper, Lobo, Leslie, etc to make the 8 teams pretty viable. Then the expansion teams came on and while there were some very good players it took awhile to give other teams players with the name recognition and get interest strong. I understand why and I can't fault them for it, but I'm not sure from other standpoints if it was the best plan to do it so quickly.
