Would anyone care to explain how the Knicks would be able to cut their salary to about 45 mil and field a team that would attract Lebron? Randolph, Curry, Crawford, and Jefferies contracts go one year past that free agency and those guys alone count for 45 million.

Huge task for sure.

However:
a) LeBron plays on a team full of scrubs now
b) Don't underestimate Walsh

man thats so annoying i wish this was about the raps having a shot at him, what is denver thinking if they do this its a bad move

on the plus side, as a raps fan we'll get to see more carmelo, on the negative side we'll have to see more carmelo

This is just a tactic to try and scare AI into opting out for next year. The Nuggets dont want to pay 40 mill (including the lux tax) for Iverson to play next to melo and think if they can scare AI into thinking they will tank next year he will be out the door.
