That was my thing on them all season... they're above-average offensively, but lack creativity outside of Paul, and West to a lesser degree.

Can't blame Pargo. He did his job. Scott doesn't bring him in to distribute. Paul has had the ball in his hand the whole season. All of a sudden he's not even handling the ball late in the game. Where was his fire? Why didn't he demand the ball?

When he had the ball he set an open midrage shot for West and two open 3s for Peja..they just missed.

And then Pargo got hot and brought em back..why demand the ball when Pargo is on fire...its about winning not playing hero.

Peja is a damn choker. I was hoping he would at least save it for the Lakers.

Not only did he take some awful, rushed shots, but he wasn't close on any of them and missed the rim by like 3 feet on a wide open opportunity. Much of the blame should be going his way for not showing up when his team needed him the most, particularly since he is supposed to be a playoff veteran. I guess some things never change.

CP3 had a great series, and he did just about all he could, although he struggled a little tonight. This is a good learning experience for him as well as West and Chandler. The Hornets are going to be a strong team for years to come, so congrats on a great season and GL next year.

actually Spurs vs Pistons was a good final ...

Spurs vs Cavs was so boring because the Cavs sucked so much and never had a chance not because of the Spurs ...

New Orleans is a great team. They will rule the Western Conference. Paul is the best PG in the game. They were tough.

I'm proud of the Spurs. History was against us and we won even though history said otherwise. We knew that our series against Dallas was a dagger in the heart and played like champs in the pivotal Game 7. It was devastating to overcome a 3-1 series deficit and a 20 point deficit in Game 7 and lose the game at home.

The difference in Game 7 was our experience and confidence. We had our series against Dallas to motivate us. New Orleans is a new team and had nothing.

Karma is a bitch. We lose Game 7 at home. We win Game 7 on the road.

The greatest rivalry in this era is commencing. The Lakers killed us in their title run but we stopped them in their tracks from a 4-peat. We are still terrified and shocked by the .4 Fisher shot and he is back in the Lakers. This will be the greatest WCF between the two dynasties that ruled this era.

Per Yahoo

"and when the Spurs were done, Chris Paul and David West trudged off the court and into vacation, not even stopping to shake their opponents

Absolutely, and would be again. It just depends if somebody can appreciate enough the slower, less-finese styles of the two teams. Which in a way is what basketball is about, in the way they play.

It's still very enjoyable.
