it's official, that MANU IS the best SG of bball since 2000!

Post#1 » by goat:manu » Tue May 20, 2008 11:05 am

when everybody looks for the next jordan, well, there is already one: Manu Ginobili! As a winner, Manu is definitely the next JORDAN, he's 6'6 SG, every coach in the league said that MANU would step up to take the win, every coach in the league said if manu doesn't step up, spurs loss.
that's what he did in the Game 7: Manu Ginobili scored 26 points, hitting four free throws in the final minute, with all the clotch shots taken by manu, makes him one of the best SG. During the regular season, when TP WAS out, a lot of coach said that MANU is the second best SG just behind KOBE.

Everybody agrees with this: spurs championship ring-laden trio of Duncan, Ginobili and Parker.

Duncan is great, but he's not that great, his stats isn't great, and he needs MANU to save his ass since 2003. Duncan isn't even the first option of score of his team, when Hakeem won his title, he was the 1st option, Dirk is first option, when Shaq won, he's the 1st option, same as jordan, wilt, magic, ..... Malone,.... but duncan never dominated the league as the other great players did.

Manu is the reason spurs won, he can do everything, score, assists, floppe, change the game style, hit the crucial pts, take clutch shots, and every little things that superstars don't care to bring a win. That's why he schooled the usa team alone in 2004, include duncan, because he knows how to win.

Kobe may be the best SG in the NBA, but MANU is the best SG in the BBALL which include the NBA LEAGUE and nba isn't dominant league as it used to be.

here is manu's achievement:

3*NBA champions, the most important player of the spurs Trio.
2001 Lega A (Italy) MVP
Euroleague 2000-01 Finals MVP
2002 Lega A MVP
All-Tournament, 2002 FIBA World Championship
Olimpia de Oro (2003, 2004 (shared))
2004 Olympics MVP
All-Tournament, 2006 FIBA World Championship
50 Greatest Euroleague Contributors (2008)

he's the GOD of BBALL just as maradonna of soccer!

Kobe is the best SG after Jordan, and Pele is the king of soccer, not Maradona. Sorry Argentina......you wish!

Manu is good but I'd take Kobe/Wade and McGrady over him anyday.

Maradona isn't the god of football. He's the god of cocaine and cheating the referees.

OT:
+1
No doubt Maradona is a great player, but his achievement is overrated. Napoli was a strong team BEFORE he joined them. I think Maradona is on par with Cryuff, and a little better than Platini and Zico. No one touches Pele though

here's the stats of spurs' big 3:
pts reb asssits
manu 21.28571429 4.142857143 6

parker 19.42857143 3.714285714 5.714285714

duncan 15.28571429 13 2.714285714

with manu's clutch plays of the last games, and his clutch shots, he's the 1st option of spurs.

let's just see, do you want to an avatar bet on this?

and what's your argument to make kobe the best? yes, kode did sell more jerseys than manu, but as bball skills, what did kobe did more than manu? yes his 81 pts is 2nd best o the NBA history, but as a winner, i take manu over kobe...

goat:manu. He has better statistics, better jumper ( don't even know if manu has jumper, he shoots from flor, no jump what so ever), quicker, more clutch, more athletic, better rebounder, better passer.

What else do you want? He has 3 championships, Manu had Duncan with him all along so here's the ring.

Montel Vontavious Porter?? that's a joke, how a 2 times mvp + amare + 6th man + matrix + bench of good role player never make the final appearance? MVP doesn't mean anything since the later of 1990's.

MANU'S has more champion ships than kobe's, that's make him the biggest winner.

spurs has a trio, duncan-manu-tp, and in the series against suns, TP was the 1st option, and in the series against Hornets, MANU IS THE 1st option, and duncan isn't the 1st option since 2005...

did you watch the game when spurs played?? manu is the X-factor, when kobe won 3 rings with shaq, he wasn't great as today's kobe. shaq was the 1st option when lakers won.

Manu at 2003 is like kobe in 2000, and manu's the MAN of the spurs in 2005 and 2007, so manu's 3 rings>kobe's 3, beside manu has more championships than kobe, and he's the best player of his gold olympic medal in 2004, he showed that he's better than duncan in that game...

and when TP was out, manu can put the same stats as kobe does, he had 46 pts 13 assists against the KING lebron, and meanwhile, lebron schooled kobe each time they met this year.... MANU is the most unselfish player, that's why when TP came back, his stats dropped down, cause he take care of little things that no All-stars don't care to bring a win.
