Whatever Happened To Goggles?

Post#1 » by OldSchoolNoBull » Tue May 20, 2008 8:05 pm

Goggles/glasses used to be all over the NBA back in the day. Whatever happened to them? Seems like nobody wears them anymore. Why did they disappear? Has anybody seen anyone in the NBA wearing goggles/glasses recently?

Good question, Im guessing players that would need them now use contact lenses or get laser eye surgery.

Contacts? They had contacts in the '80s and '90s.

I'm guessing Lasik is the big difference, since they did have contacts in the 80s and 90s. Though maybe its the development of more comfortable lenses.
