People who are actually knocking on ray allen in a thread that is about how his step dad AND mom are in the witness protection program because someone attempted to murder him and supposibly his family is now receiving death threats, are a perfect example of the small minded, little people of this world. Its ok though, us classy people are happy you're around to make us look so good.

Anyway I saw that interview with Ray on Nesn this morning and I was very happy to see him be honest about what he wanted. THe only damn way we're going to beat the Detroit pistons is if Ray get's his shot to drop. And like he said it's going to take a TEAM effort to get that done, he didn't put blame on anyone he just said that he needs help from his teamates to get him open shots particularly doc and rondo who will be running the plays and handling the ball.

Exactly. Which is why I called out the **** poster above who said "if Ray lets this stuff get to him then he's no good"
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

i agree that he's not fitting into the system that well & not gettin enough looks, but the thing is, the frustrating thing, is that he's missing wide open shots that could absolutely KILL the opponents. i remember a number of shots in the 1st two rounds where we were gainin some momentum & on a lil run, & ray is wide open, but he jus clanks it off the rim & that somewhat kills our momentum. in the regular season, he made those & made it tough on the opponent.

but Ray, you & ur family are in all our prayers. that must be tough. i remember hearing somethin about an attempted murder on his step-father a few weeks/months ago but didnt know it was to this extent.

i have been thinking the same thing about rondo getting the ball to ray

sometimes ray will come off a perfect curl with space between him and the defender, and rondo swings the ball the other way, i don;t get it

it has happened a number of times this postseason, and has me scratching my head, if thye are trying to get ray going, getting him in the ball in positions like that would be beneficial to everyone

I take back what I said about Pierce. I didn't know that was an actual gameplay. I thought Pierce just wanted it to be him vs the King Bron.

Pierce is just playing his best basketball.

Ray is starting to get it. He will shoot better when he plays better. Last night he starting getting more involved and finally contributed to the win. He drew a charge, passed out of the double teams, and was in the mix for rebounds. His 3-10 shooting is acceptable, when he does the little things. He still unfortunately is afraid of contact. You can't twice take the ball to the basket along the baseline, and dribble under the hoop and come out the other side and not even try to put up a shot - draw a foul.

ray's been brickin a lot but i put some blame on rondo. everytime ray gets open rondo either doesn't pass it to him or throws it to him a second late. oh well once/if cassell gets in there ray will break out the slump.

Watch what Ray is doing on those "curls" coming off the picks. He's not curling but instead is running towards the 3-pt line. Why pass the ball to a player who is going to end up in worse position than the passer is in. Ray has to take his play to the lane more and then his teammates will see him as open.

Uh no way is this Rondo's fault.

Ray has not been hitting the open shots he gets, insists on putting the ball on the floor even though yesterday was the first time in forever that he successfully got to the rim in forever without turning the ball over. Its up to ray to realize he is a Michael Finley caliber player at the moment and should be treated as such.

Its not Rondo's fault that he airballs wide open shots, snd fantastic passes from Rondo on the break, and it certainly isn't Rondo's fault that RAy insists on dribbling the ball for 15-20 seconds in order to get nowhere
