No offense to you guys, but the Spurs are boring. I'm really disappointed to see them advance. It would be a ratings disaster for a Spurs vs. Pistons rematch.
I have much respect for the Spurs though. They play the game the right way, they are intelligent and clutch, very impressive gm 7 victory. If they find some way to beat the Lakers though I'd be completely shocked out of my mind.

New Orleans is a great team. They will rule the Western Conference. Paul is the best PG in the game. They were tough.
I'm proud of the Spurs. History was against us and we won even though history said otherwise. We knew that our series against Dallas was a dagger in the heart and played like champs in the pivotal Game 7. It was devastating to overcome a 3-1 series deficit and a 20 point deficit in Game 7 and lose the game at home.
The difference in Game 7 was our experience and confidence. We had our series against Dallas to motivate us. New Orleans is a new team and had nothing.
Karma is a bitch. We lose Game 7 at home. We win Game 7 on the road.
The greatest rivalry in this era is commencing. The Lakers killed us in their title run but we stopped them in their tracks from a 4-peat. We are still terrified and shocked by the .4 Fisher shot and he is back in the Lakers. This will be the greatest WCF between the two dynasties that ruled this era.

Congrats on a really nice road win. NO is a really good team, but you could tell that they weren't ready to win. Their time will come soon enough, I suspect. Maybe they can learn a little humility between now and next year's playoffs. A couple of their players could use a lesson.
Much respect from this Mavs fan. I've always admired the way your team plays. Your experience and poise down the stretch was the difference.
Kobe and the gang will be a real handful. Good luck in the next series.

Congrats to the Spurs on pullin this one out. I was listening to the game via Memphis radio and heard how TP managed to keep the Spurs fighing chances alive in the fourth quarter when the Hornets got to close for comfort.
The series was a thriller to say the least. Both teams took each other to the limit offensively and defensively. In the case of the Spurs, experience won out and they get to move on. As for the Hornets, they earned a name for themselves in the playoffs from beating the Mavs in 5 games to taking the Spurs to 7 games. With these experiences under their belts, the Hornets will take this lesson and apply it to next year's playoffs with more confidence and motivation to take them every step of the way.
Congrats to the Spurs once again and best of luck against the Lakers.
