Good God Wolves can't even get respect in a lottery special!

Post#1 » by Calinks » Tue May 20, 2008 6:34 pm

Just finished watching ESPN's hour long lottery special. We didn't get one mention. The did a little segment on the Heat, talked about Seattle and Beasley, New York, we didn't exist. Then at the end they said hey lottery teams, all of you had some good moments this year!

Then they showed a 2 minute highlight reel of all the lottery teams in their best moments of the year. There wasn't ONE clip of the wolves. You got to be kidding me man these guys are just offensive. Why couldn't we get one clip when everybody had like 2+!

Maybe we are being fazed out of the league. I'm guessing they forget to include us in the lottery as well.

This idiot in particular made me mad:

Hey, do you really care if a new system sabotages the supposed rise of the Minnesota Timberwolves?

The Wolves are like the mute kid in class that does his work and participates in group work, but when mute kid is absent, nobody notices it or cares.

I saw the special. It was weird. I saw crunch, but nothing else.

Yeah they showed crunch on top of the basket with fireworks coming out, lol. Our only highlight.

And the Wolves arent moving, especially after all the Target center renovations. Its still one of the nicest arenas and itd be stupid to leave it sit empty

Wow, they can't show Big Al throwing one down or anything like that but they can show crunch firing off some fire works? It's like Al wasn't only 1 of tow players to average 20 and 11 last year. No respect.

The Wolves get no respect even though we are one of the few rebuilding teams that already has a franchise big man in place. The essential piece for any championship team.

The media will come crawling back once we get a top 2 pick.

I think you need to make the all-star team before you can be called a franchise big man. That said, the fox sports idiot was pretty annoying.

Yea, I like how they gave Randy Foye some props. They have us taking Beasley.

It was kinda disrespectful how they said we better hope 3 ping pong balls go our way because we need that much help. We aren't the only team that needs help you now. I mean, look at the Knicks.

Did you notice ESPN also didn't even get the odds right, giving us a 15% chance at the top pick, and MEM an 11% chance?

Embarrassing -- they just don't care.

Yea, we are better off than a lot of teams in the lottery. We already got Big Al and Randy Foye.

Seattle only has Durant and maybe Green, Grizzlies just have Rudy Gay, Knicks have... David Lee?

Clippers are only in the lottery because of injuries.
