They're gonna get Beasley. I'm just glad Miami got number two. Rose will probably be a really good pro, but I don't think we'd have to worry about him now you know?

Think so? I'd say Rose might be Chicago's pick. He's originally from Chicago and the Bulls have Noah, Gooden & Tyrus Thomas all capable of playing PF.

Either way, Miami & Chicago just got alot better.

Rose will be the Bulls pick. He is going to be a ticket selling and is a guard that can create his own shot, that's what they need.

Time to rev up the Fire Eddie Thread. Beasley AND Rose in the East. We need to get better fast and Eddie aint taking us there. EG needs to work his arse this offseason too. The only satisfying outcome was watching the Knicks drop. I'm off to the Knicks board to gloat.

At least the Wizards have "continuity".

Let's not forget, for one week in January of 2007 many moons ago the Wizards actually lead the Eastern Conference.

If the Wizards can stay healthy..."blah, blah, blah".

Teams that will be better than us next year:

Chicago
Atlanta
The Nets if they can get the Camby, Carmelo deal done

Yeah so I'm totally smelling the #8 seed and another first round exit for the Wiz this season. Great thing we have continuity on a mediocre NBA roster thats injury prone and inconsistent.

They've had what...5-6 lottery picks where they could have gotten their big man but passed for players who have the same ability, see Noah and Thomas.

Drafting Beasley solves that for at least the next 5 years.

If they pick Rose, meh.

Of course I'm biased, b/c I don't want to see Beasley in a Heat uniform.

Why draft Rose when you have T.Thomas and Noah? Hinrich sucks, he can't even shoot 40 from the field and all Bulls fans hate him. He doesn't know how to run an offense, he is far from a capable point guard. They need an explosive guard a la Gilbert Arenas and they will have the chance to get him. Rose is their guy, plus he is a home town kid.

So they grab another guard, and they still have nobody to feed the ball to downlow?

Don't get me wrong, both Miami and Chicago will get a franchise player, but I'm looking at this based on need. Bulls need a big man, Noah and Thomas couldn't post up if their lives depended on it.

Miami probably need Beasley as well, but they wouldn't shed tears if they got Rose.

I always thought Hinrich was overrated. He's not really a "true PG" as many claim. Sometimes I think people refer to him as a true PG just because he's white. He's combo guard, and last year he absolutely stunk. A major reason Chicago was so bad this past season was because Hinrich was terrible.

Logic says da Bulls draft Rose......or try to trade TT, draft Beasley, and try to get a pg, if they cant move TT.

So I guess EG should not be burning up Paxon's phone line asking about Hinrich?
