We received the #4 pick in the lottery. Which player should we select?

Too bad it's a 2 player draft. Bummer.

That's not short sighted or anything.

After the first 2 all the rest are crap.

Does Hinrich go on the block now? How many of you like Bayless more than Conley? I might be in the minority, but I'd trade the #4 pick for Conley assuming Mayo is gone.

From what I saw of him this season Bayless looks like a Stephen Marbury type, which means score first, pass second. He wasn't really the floor leader that got his teamates involved. How does that translate to Durant?

Mayo on the other hand was more team oriented and plays better defense. Neither are what you would call true pointguards but are indeed combo guards.

I'm going to start a thread on the trade board to see what Seattle could get for the #4 pick, just for the fun of it.

i would like hinrich too.. he had a bad year but the whole chicago team suffered from coaching worse than us. it may not even cost us the 4th pick since his value is really low.

Not sold on Bayless, hate Mayo.

Really pissed off right now. I feel like I'm going to throw up in my mouth.

I hope there's some way we can get Mayo. We better not draft Lopez.

Larb, at the very least, we appreciate your sympathy. Thank you. Chicago was extremely lucky.

The more I read the Minnesota boards, the more worried they seem to be that they're going to get Lopez. They took a SG 3 years ago with Mccants who they like a lot. A PG 2 years ago with Randy Foye, they took a SF in Brewer last year while trading for a stud PF in Jefferson. The only position they haven't taken is C.

Lopez to Minnesota Mayo to Seattle!!!

I agree that Minnesota is more likely to select Lopez than another guard. In fact, I don't even think that it would be a stupid pick. Besides Jefferson, most of their best players are guards.

My son and I were talking about the fact that we thought we would end up with Mayo before the draft and I think that is who we will get at #4. Very good defender and outside shooter which this team really needs. Seems like Mayo would be a better fit as long as his character issues do not present a problem. As long as we don't get Lopez.
