Unless that pick is the one Chicago just lucked into, their is no way in hell the Clipps do that. That is one heinous deal...

100% Sure It's Rose

1). Paxson drafts leaders, Rose is one, Beasily is not.
2). Rose is from Chicago
3). Bulls Need A Pure PG
4). Rose has most potential in draft.

Pending workouts, I expect them still to take Rose because of how great of a leader he is. Beasily is questionable, Rose is a Chris Paul v.2

Bulls can easily move for a PF/C now with the players they have to trade

HINRICH
GOODEN
PICK

FOR

BRAND

Hughes will expire, they will resign Thomas. When Brand/Nocioni expire, Rose is up.

PG Rose - Duhon
SG Gordon - Hughes (2yr)
SF Deng - Nocioni
PF Brand - T. Thomas
C Noah - T. Thomas

or maybe now they go Deng, Hinrich, Sefo for Mello

then trade Gooden + Nocioni + Filler For J. O'Neal

PG Rose - Duhon
SG Gordon - Sefo
SF Mello - T. Thomas
PF J. O'Neal - T. Thomas
C Noah Gray

1) imo bulls take will take rose

2) 70% of their board (according to current pull) would prefer rose.

I had no idea that Hinrich was making 11 million this season & 10 million next season. Is he still a Base something something player? There's no way they're gonna be able to move that.

Beasley is not a leader?

Beasley is a leader, who carried that K-State team on his back throughout the year. He makes the game look so effortless but he does play the game with fire and is very emotional team leader.

Rose on the other hand went to an already an established team so he led more by his play on the floor.

A Wade and Beasley pick and roll will definitely be tough to stop.

I was just informed that he's a BYC player until July 1, but I don't think they have to trade him. I think they let Ben Gordon go and move Kirk to shooting guard, using a three guard rotation of Hughes, Rose, and Kirk.

If they re-sign Gordon, even without figuring Rose into the equation, they're spending well over $30 million on their backcourt alone. Add in Rose and you may be looking at $40 million just for that. That's an awful lot of cash...

The issue with the Bulls is that Beasley could step in and finally solidify their frontcourt scoring issues that they've had seemingly forever. I find it hard to believe that they would draft Rose when they paid Hinrich a few years back and they'll probably pay Gordon this off-season. Still, if they do draft Rose...Beasley is nothing to cry about having to draft!

I agree, they SHOULD draft Beasley. I just don't know that they WILL draft Beasley.

Hope they draft Beasley, whenever they miss out on a highly ranked home town guy, he turns out big for the team that gets him.

Bulls should go with Beasley. However, no matter what happens it's a win-win for you Miami fans. Congrats

The Bulls will almost certainly, and should, go with Rose. The only more impactful position (potentially) than PG is Center, and Beasley is not a center. Rose is a hometown guy with lightning quickness who can direct and offense and create scoring opportunities for others.... something the Bulls need MUCH more than a frontcourt scorer.

It would be incredibly stupid for the Bulls to pass on him just because they have a backcourt glut including Larry f'ing Hughes.

FYI:

On SportsCenter, Jay Bilas said CHI should take Rose while Chad Ford updated his mock to have the Bulls taking Beasley.

Interestingly, in the SportsNation vote, 64% of viewers thought the Bulls should take Beasley. In the state-by-state breakdown, 47 states had a majority of viewers vote Beasley, while only 2 voted Rose. However, 1 of those 2 states was, in fact, Illinois.

Just on marketing alone they would take Rose. Then consider they spent 2 top ten lottery picks on there pf and center and arent crazy about giving Gordon $$$ Rose makes to much sense for them. Hinrich can play sg or could be moved in the offseason and a Stud pg should bring out the best in Tyrus Thomas and Noah.

Even if we got the # 1 pick we wouldnt know who Pat wanted because he would never "leak" out that info. Remember all the love the team had for Kaman and we picked Wade. Pat is as sly as the come and if anything is "leaked" its misinformation.

The bulls need a PG as much as they need a low post scorer. Try to watch some bulls games where Tyrus and Noah both started as their frontcourt, and you'll see why bulls fans prefer Rose over Beasly.

Have you wondered why sometimes Duhon starts for the bulls? That's because he's the bulls best PG, yes Chris frigging Duhon is their best PG!
