It goes without saying to anybody who's not a blind hater that Horry was simply bracing for contact. It's not like he threw a forearm into West's back. But beyond that, how the hell do you justify this statement? That foul on West had nothing to do with game 6, as it happened in the 4th when the Spurs were up by 21. And it had nothing to do with game 7, since West had 4 days to rest, and showed no ill effects from the sore back. Your hate has made you blind.

it goes without saying that you cannot have a reasonable conversation with a fanbase that routinely defends Bruce the Butcher Bowen.

and he did lean in and lift his arms - basically pinpointing the pressure on a small area. He didn't throw an arm, but his arms were carefully placed, with his full body weight behind htem - AND moving into West.

It's ridiculous that you can't see that.

bottom line, Spurs fans don't care that Horry deliberatly hurt West. They wouldn't feel that way if somebody did that to Duncan, but that's cause they don't think the rules apply to them.

blah blah blah.

I'll take the ruling of the guy who gets paid big bucks to make these kinds of determinations over some bitter fan of a laughing stock of a team. I guess Stu Jackson is also a blind, biased Spurs fan?

especially when it benefits your team.

I know one thing for sure. I would not, would never - cheer my teams player if they pulled an Horry or a Bowen. I know that, because I've boo'd Oakley when he did exactly what Horry did to Reggie Miller about 14 years ago. - and the Knicks fans were not to tacky as to cheer Oakley while Reggie lay on the floor in pain. That's a San Antonio thing, and I think it's a philadelphia thing too. In other words, it's sick.

Is there something in the water in San Antonio that makes your residents mental?

and is blah blah blah really a reasonable argument? Cause, I've never heard that one used in debate.

What a pathetic overreaction. Control the mentality, man.

OK, I see. I'd be as bitter and pissed off as you if I were a Knick fan. Jeez, now I feel like I've been harassing a cancer patient on his death bed. Feel free to hold whatever biased opinion you want. Far be it for me to add to the misery of the miserable by holding their opinion up for ridicule.

I liked how Horry said that the Nash check last year was border-line cheap shot. In order to patch their friendship he did apologize and is attending/donating to Nash's charity.

Ugh.......

This is the same guy that later in the show claimed that this Laker's team was better than the 3-peat 2000+ team. The guy says stupid stuff sometimes.

Yeah but few minutes later Smith and Webber agreed that Laker rosters were not all that deep.

Horry has been doing this all series.
A little bit here and there.
Don't fret though, Spurs gonna get burned by Kobe

This is the first time in my life I will actually be rooting for Kobe & the Lakers. WOW. I never thought that would happen.

Oh, and Coach pop.

I'm not bitter.

I just dislike your team and I have valid reasons for disliking them. As I recall, yoru Bruce Gaydiculous Bowen triued to break Jamal Crawfords and Steve Francis' ankles in the same season - just 2 games against NY. Bruce sure is persistant.

and I dislike Horry now too. Never liked Kobe, but I'm rooting for the Lakers. Not bitter, I just recognize a team that's worth booing. San Antonio is like the Flyers in Hockey in the 70s. Dirty, Dirty, Dirty.

Meh, you sound awfully bitter. It's like a broken record. Hard to imagine you being a mod.

too bad that its a bigger deal to you than to either francis or crawford. they both said it was just basketball and have no ill-will towards bowen after. the only one actually involved who made a fuss was isiah thomas.

how did horry affect west's condition? he was injured before and he was injured after. it didnt keep him from playing. how do you feel about bonzi wells grabbing bowen by the neck with no intent on the ball and hornets fans cheering while he was down? oh thats right, it was bruce bowen. i guess the rules only apply for some people too.

good luck getting off that high horse

I don't know why it's so hard for you to tell the difference between critisism & bitterness. I'm critical of the Spurs, and I think, rightly so. If you wish to infer that as bitterness, then I can't stop you. I can tell you with absolute certainty that I do NOT want my team to be like the spurs, and I am not bitter, but I do think the way the Spurs play sometimes is bad for basketball.

anyway, this is getting old, I just felt I needed to point out that I really am not bitter. I'm just not a fan of the Spurs dirty style of play.

I'm pretty sure there were some members of the Knicks organization who said exactly what I said - taht Bowen's style was meant to cause injury and should warrent a serious penalty. In fact, I think it was after one of the Knick games that Bowen got a call from Stu Jackson and was told to "cut it out"

Not sure why you're playing the "it's just basketball" line and putting it all on me, when Stu Jackson didn't feel it was just basketball, and neither did a whole LOT of people.

LTK doesn't like the Spurs for various reason, so what... why should I or anyone else care? I don't like many teams(i.e Yankees) from different sports for various reasons. Does that make me bitter? No. I just don't like them just like LTK doesn't like the Spurs. Just deal with it.

Thank you.

As a mets fan, I don't like the Yankees either. Don't get me started on Roger Clemens throwing at Piazza's head. Grrrr.

but I've already contributed too much to this thread, so I'll stop now.
