Wow. I didn't expect this...well...if he wants out, goodbye Leandro. But NY will have to make a good offer.
Anyway I want this story to be confirmed by some US report or I will not completely trust it.

From what I glean from the translation. Leandro says the Shaq trade cost them their main weapon, speed, and they didn't have enough time to adjust.
As to going to NY, he says sports is business and if they decide to send him there he has nada to say about it.
And he says he loves the Suns fans.
Christ, how this has been spun this is like the Hollinger/ESPN of Brazil interms of accuracy

He's gone, and good riddance. Clearly he's more immature than I ever thought.
Come on DA, show Walsh how much you want him...I could see him becoming a cult player in NY...
Chandler, Lee, Collins or Balkman thanks....or #6...
Would you guys trade #15 and Barbosa for #6? I'm hesitant, I dont think there's ONE guy out there besides the top 3 that would help us immediately where we need it

I don't see what the big deal is. Either none of you speak Portuguese or even Spanish for that matter, cause he didn't say anything bad.
He said they didn't have enought time to adjust their style of play after the Shaq trade. Shaq is going to be very helpful next season, when they have time to make the necessary changes to their style of play.
He loves Phoenix and the fans, but if he is traded there is nothing he can do.
If he is reunited with Mike D and Knicks, he would welcome the move.
How is that so bad?
He is a good kid, but he needs to go. If the Knicks can package a deal, cool, if its someone else, great!

so correct me if I'm right, but if barbs is moved, then that means petbull does not come around????
do it!
Kidding man, but MD is barbs second lover after petbull, really, he is.
Anyway, I understand what he is saying, but I think it is time to see what we can get for him. He is soft mentally and physically. Streaky scorer, and is really fast. One track mind. but has so many weaknesses that it hurts our team to a point.
If we can land the #6 pick, I am all for it. I am not for sure I want all of those scrubs tho. Lee would be nice, but if MD wants his boy, then they have to pay.
I am up for trading barbs and doris this off-season to get a better bench, some youth etc. both of these guys are good, but we need solid role players around our core guys.
