Fred Hoiberg, Minnesota Timberwolves
Assistant General Manager

Third Overall Selection

Q: What kind of player do you feel you can get with the third pick?
Hoiberg:

Watch at 2:15, you can see Hoiberg's reaction after hearing they were awarded the third pick. It is pretty interesting to watch everyone's reaction after they see what pick they were awarded.

If I heard correctly, it sounded like there was laughter in the background right after Hoiberg showed his disappointment.

I didnt catch that when it was live.

Come on. We all know that after the lottery that bear got its plush ass handed to him in a secluded hallway. I guarantee that thing things body is in a dumpster right now. McHale covered it up by buying an identical bear. The kid will never know.

It would've been much more dramatic if they'd done a Three Point Shootout to determine draft order instead of the lottery.

Maybe that will come in for next year it would explain the Suns locking up Kerr as GM in preparation.
