What Do you want?

Post#1 » by GameTime_3 » Wed May 21, 2008 7:31 am

Lets say Chi gets Rose and Miami Selects Micheal Beasley, What do you want? You want Haslem Traded to clear the room for Beasley or Marion. Would you rather bring the kid off the bench? IS Beasley Worth Elton Brand or Carmelo Anthony? So many Question but what is your answer?

If we get Beasley I think this trade could work for us:

Give: Marion + Haslem + Wright &/or Cook

Get: Wallace + (resigned) Okafur + #9

PG: Westbrook or Augustin/Banks/Quinn
2G: Wade/Cook
SF: Wallace/Davis
PF: Beasley/Anthony
C: Okafur/Zo/Blount

We would need to look for some 3pt shooters or trade the number 9 for a PG - TJ Ford/Calderon/Baron Davis + filler? Love would probably still be there at 9, if we could get a PG with the MLE.

This team would be well balanced on both ends of the floor & young. 3 pt shooting looks to be the main weakness.

Chicago is taking Rose in a heart beat. Im more than ecstatic that were getting Beasley but Rose wouldnt be a bad consolation prize.

It would sure help mask Blount's "rebounding."

I'd do that trade in a second. Wouldn't even hesitate. However, Charlotte would be giving up way too much. Waaaaayyyy too much.

that would be one beast of a team. i think we would need to give up a little more but otherwise, thats a great trade

I would crap my pants if Riley could pull off a move like that. And I wouldn't be ashamed of it.

The trade for Okafor and Wallace and the #9 pick would never happen. Wallace will probably be a better Marion in a year, and Okafor is a borderline max player, far better than Haslem. Both are much younger, neither will be asking for 20 mill next season like Marion will be, who would be a 30 year old player on another lotto team. That we get the #9 pick for Cook or Dorell is another lopsided part to the trade.

And as for Lane1974's comment about no more polls ever, thats the first thing I thought too when I saw it's game time's 500th poll in a week.

Would your rather a tread about Wades moms Church? or What to do during off season. The reason i like polls is that most people don't want to post comment and just surf the site but polls they can just click and not shows there name. You get a better feel for what people are thinking.

i could see us playing it two ways.

Keeping Beasley, but once we get him. The whole team besides Wade is going to be suspect to trade talks. Haslem, Marion, Blount, about any player besides Wade, and Beasley might get traded.

Or Marion makes the extension, Riley might trade the second pick, for a veteran like Melo.

I would of said the same about us trading a has been Shaq.

Riley is the king of the trades that are impossible. Don't count anything out when it comes to Riley.

He might have some mafia type guys, putting a glock in your face, or else.
