Roy.

The kid isn't going to be a dominant scorer or rebounder, but he's a tremendous passer, he's got nice ball handling ability for his size that he won't use, but he will be able to guard the actual true centers of the league while still grabbing some boards, and scoring at the basket with a variety of moves, or he can even hit the jumper.

With all the center prospects I hope Roy drops to the wolves in the 2nd rd.

Roy/Al/Brewer/Mayo/Foye
Gomes/Mccants off the bench...Nice

Koufos is an Ilgauskas clone, he's going to be a real crafty low post scorer, he also a has a sweet jumper. Has good shot blocking instincts, his lack of athleticism will hurt him that regard, but he'll be able to alter shots with his length. Koufos is more talented, he'll be the better pro.

Why do I sense some bias in your post? :P

I'm going to disagree and go with Hibbert.

He's not as skilled or versatile as Koufos, but he's bigger, and I think his strengths will translate better to the NBA than Kosta's. I really think that in order for skilled big men to translate to the NBA, they need to be so skilled that they would dominate the NCAA. I just didn't see that from Koufos.

Of course not.

You know, it's too hard to tell who's going to be a better pro with two guys like this, so it's all about how you think each guy will translate into the NBA game. So I can respect what you're saying, at the same time I see Koufos with a high ceiling, clearly the more talented player and if he reaches his potential should have more impact. But Hibbert could beat the odds, so who knows. But off potential alone, which the NBA draft is all about, Koufos should and probably will go higher.

you're right. we both have no real idea who will be the better player. I'm going on Hibbert taking GTOWN the the Final 4 two years ago. He was a catalyst in that tourney. He's a legit 7-3. He's strong, so I figure he can bang in the NBA. He is just so raw.

Kosta's Ohio State didn't even make the tourney this year.

They did win the NIT this year, but it was against Massachusettes who weren't a great squad outside of Dante Milligan.

I do predict that Hibbert will go higher in the draft based on his size, rebounding skills, and ability to hit free throws for a C. Just my take.
