The Lakers just don't play enough defense to beat the Spurs. You've got 3 excellent, excellent defensive teams left plus the Lakers. Maybe the D will get better next year with Bynum but I can't see them winning this year with Gasol as their anchor.

i thought turiaf defended duncan pretty well. would like to see more of that. downside is though you dont have the offensive skills of pau in the game.

It's really cute how you would bitch about rockets fans making post like this in the LA-Utah threads, and now do it yourself.

Manu Ginobili just needs to get going more, he's had a few good looks he's missed

Solid 1st half, Duncan/Parker leading the way with nice play from the support guys

would you rather be an american idol star living the life in hollywood or be a star player in the nba?

I'm sorry, I will stop posting about the my opinions based on what I have seen.

Spurs are the better team, are more tested, and more proven.

Spurs in 4.

He's touched the ball literally 10 times, he's converted 7 of them to score. But player like Farmar does not pass to kobe ever and it has been like that since regular season. Odom is buffled by how he can't go to the left now. Fisher still thinks he's in Utah and taking horrible shots. His teamates are scrared to pass to him becuase they think bowens going to deflect it. Teammates got shook by Playoff SPurs.

LOL at anyone who thinks this is gonna be a sweep. Unless an injury happens, that ain't in the card.

I'm impressed with the Spurs. I haven't watched them play a lot this year, but they are playing very efficient basketball. Limiting such a high octane offense to 43 first half points... wow. I don't like that we're playing at their pace, damn it, some of our players need to snap out of it (yeah, Kobe, Lamar, I'm talking about you) and this crowd... I'm really disappointed in the crowd. No noise at all.

Well here's to a better second half for the Lakers.

cheers

Well, Kobe is taking the "not getting into a one on one duel with Bowen and involving teammates" stuff we've heard from him during the past few days to another level. He seriously needs to get to work in the 2nd half.

This game is far from over. People need to stop saying the Spurs have it wrapped up. Anything can happen in the second half.

The Spurs the last two games have been playing great. They crushed the Hornets in San Antonio, then beat them in a game 7 on the road convincingly.

This is the kind of series that the better team is just going to win out, even if the other team is talented.

Reminds me of the Lakers/Nuggets series. Even though the Nuggets were good, the Lakers were better overall.

Same way I feel about the Spurs in this series.

nothing wrong, there's a good defense on him and he's just not forcing things, he has 5 assists and 1 TO!

Here's hoping there's nothing wrong with him again in the 2nd half.

Whenever any team is down at half, the haters come out. But the Lakers and Boston get it the worst.
