I thought it was on the refs...or was it the blown 20 point lead?

It's so frustrating! Not only does he miss it, but it's normally a very important shot late in the game. The last time it happened was in overtime against the Jazz. Which we lost. He needs to go up with two hands and go hard! I'm tired of all these soft dunks by Pau, he needs to rip off the court and dunk with authority. He's done it before..

It should be the reverse. The fact that the Spurs had an opportunity to take the lead with 20 seconds left tells me the Spurs are in great shape.. They were dead tired in the 4th quarter and their outshots were short for the most part (symptom of fatigue.) You should see improved performance in games 2 and onward.

The most depressing thing about this game was just how predictable it was. Maybe not win the game, but who did not see LA at least making a BIG comeback and Spurs' offense going completely south?

Spurs will always choke against LA. I still look back at 2003 in disbelief. How the **** did that happen??

GasolKobe was deadly today. Spurs had problem defending Paul and Chandler lob orgy, we might witness that several times in this series.

Yeah... I probably would've been alot more annoyed with Gasol missing that if i hadn't felt it was justice (we didn't deserve to have the ball back).

up 20 in the third, pop benches bowen, you do the maths...kobe gets going and lakers made there run back into the game.

then pop playing small ball in that stretch for no reason....

spurs were going for the win on that last play....a draw and going into OT, they wouldve lost due to fatigue.....

Spurs up 20 on the road in a low scoring game def. favors the Spurs.

In the end the Lakers only did what they were suppose to do and that was win on their own home floor.

Did the Spurs let a golden opportunity slip by? Absolutely.

But if the Lakers play that poorly again on their home floor they are just asking to be dismantled.

Spurs won't blow another big lead again....that's pretty much a lock.

They blew leads 3 times against the Hornets. They blew them all season long. Its a trend, not an aberration.

have you ever watch a Lakers/Spurs game before? Bowen can not stop Kobe. Kobe respects Bowen because he makes him work, but Bowen has always been burned by Kobe.

yea kobe cannot be stopped. the best bowen can do is make kobe work harder for his points than any other defender, but in the end, kobe will still get his points.

Indeed it does, Everybody wants to discredit the Lakers and put the mindset that we're only winning because we get help from the Refs, But that's realgm for you.

Always have discredited Laker teams and always will, Its so obvious to see that no one wants to admit Lakers are legit and Kobe is the ish so why not blame the refs ? Refs won us 55 games, refs made Kobe mvp to I guess .. I'll tell ya refs sure weren't helping us the past 4 years though, Where was the conspiracy theories then ? When old tim Donaghy was reffing the big time games .. I dunno =[
