52nd Pick in 2008 Draft
It seems like a considerably large number of seniors are getting overlooked more and more. What are the chances of getting a decent prospect in the frontcourt at this pick? Guys I've seen on the tv like Gist and White seemed very good but they're rated by most draft sites as mid 2nd round prospects.

Im a big fan of Sasha Kaun C/PF from Kansas.
I think he can be a lifetime backup C for the Heat but also provide depth at the PF position. He has good size, strength and aggressivness.
He is still not a fully developed player as well, as he has only been playing bball since like high school.

I think the most cash you can include in a trade is 3 million unless they changed it. And our penny saving luxury tax avoiding team is never gonna give that amount of money out for a pick IMO.

I only picked him cause he was on the top 10 draft sleeper list of this site.

The South Florida big man is an absolute stud on the boards and his wide body is tough to stop in the post. His lack of athleticism rings an alarm for some GM

Don't know a lot about James Gist and Sasha Kaun but I've watch this players once or twice and they look good for a late 2nd round pick.
I hope we can trade with Minny's #34 by offering them the #52 and the best draft position of Heat's 2nd round pick next year (Own, Indy, Phily). Draft Chalmers then if we draft Beasley or draft Devon Hardin if we draft Rose which I think will be our draft pick.

I would be fine with Sasha Kahn (hell of a singer) or the South Florida Center. One guy that has impressed me is the PG that played with Curry on the Davidson Team that had the run in the NCAA's last year. I thought that kid was the second coming of John Stockton, and would love for the Heat to get him in the second round or sing as an undrafted fA.
