Extremely tough match-up; initially, I thought, "How can anyone go against the Dr. J-Jerry West-Reggie Miller trio in a playoff series?" But then they're playing against the Moses Malone-Bill Walton-Karl Malone front line with Isiah at point. Hmmm, I'm going with Team West in 7 games, with the seventh game going into double overtime. Even though Moses Malone and (a healthy) Bill Walton can individually carry a team in the playoffs, I think the difference will be Dr. J because he'll be operating on Rice, King, and even Kobe.

Team Malone has a much better front court so I will take them.

Team malone. Team West's bench is a tad bit strongerbut Team Malone's weakest link in the starting 5 is Rice who has range and a faster trigger then even Reggie from past the arc.

This is tough, but I'll go with team West. They have two flat-out lockdown defenders in Frazier and West. Dr. J is a ridiculous help defender, and Cowens was quite a good defense player himself.

One thing that goes in team Malone's favor is that Sikma was a good player, but he gives up a lot to Moses. Another thing is the depth of team Malone. DJ, Dumars, and Walton off the bench? Are you kidding me?

(By the way, King > Rice, but I suppose you want better three point shooting.)

I'd be starting Mutombo over Sikma with that crew (as I do having both in the ATL going on, lol) . . . .Mutombo was a terrific man defender in his prime as well as a shotblocker, particularly against the strong centers like Shaq/Zo, etc. so he should be very effective against Malone.

That said, this is very close, I could write it up either way depending on the day. I'd love to watch it though.

No. I totally get it. If you don't know who Arthur Curry is, google him.

If it's an Aquaman reference, no I don't get it . . . and about the thread, they are asking to compare two teams, not to pick your all-timers.
