TOR,ORL,NO,ATL,CLE looked to have much better crowds then us

And, each on of those teams were knocked out. While the celtics have not lost at home.

Again, sure we might not have the best crowd, but don't ever call it a BAD crowd. A bad crowd boos their players, or just does not show up to games. Our stadium is packed to the brim, and even when a player is struggling (ray) they cheer for him. Try and get him into the game. Is that the definition of bad? No. It is BAD ASS IF anything.

Anyway, I really think the people who are backing up this statement, are just saying this because, we played a real good game 1, and they have nothing to complain about, so they lash out at the fans.

The lower bowl of our crowd is worse then other crowds. That's sums up all of he was saying. It makes our crowd appear weak in comparison. And it's true.

That doesn't mean it's not loud in the arenea, that doesn't mean we don't give our players a great advantage. It means that our crowd looks HORRIBLE on tv and it's because only the lowerbowl gets shown.

I've been to the game and I also taped it so I could watch it the next day, and I remeber specifically seeing how lethargic our crowd looked and being in the balcony I know it wasn't that bad. But it does look that bad.

DET has this promblem not only in the playoffs like us but in the regular season as well. It sucks. But you can't get true fans in front of the tv becasue most of them don't have the $$$ to get there. The remaining crowds have similar promblems.

TOR,ORL,NO,ATL,CLE looked to have much better crowds then us but I don't watch much Western Confrence ball so it may be more so far.

I disagree, I think the arena or lighting of some of the arenas have an affect. I go to about 30 games a season and have been to all the playoff games and wouldnt trade our fans for any and I was one who was very pissed about the bandwagon fans at the start of the playoffs.

right-o boss, right-o!!

without sounding like a COMPLETE tool, ill keep it short:

downstairs:25% diehard, balls-to-the wall fans who make it know theyve had too much to drink
upstairs:80% same as above types

the others, they got the tix through a friend, and(sorry) are rich old guys who should be at home drinking ensure

When we're doing good of course everyone cheers. Pumping them outta of a badddd stretch is where it really matters.

The crowd has been great. The team, not so much.

I saw too much yellow and black (seats) for a playoff game during the second and third quarters. Its a shame that the views they use don't show the real C's fans.

Well its no suprise in big places like Boston where the courtside playoff tix go fer thousands many of those tix get baught out by corporations and hand them out to employees who just wanna sit down and eat a hot dog and dont really follow bball. (my job does something like that). Or the rich wanna bring their little kid to a game and eat some cotton candy and enjoy the halftime show and what not..and im sure they reserve alot of the lower level rows for certain individuals such as in the allstar games when they reserve all of the lower level for businessmen and leave the upper half tix available for the regular fans..
