JimmyBulls Lottery Mock

Post#1 » by JimmyBulls » Fri May 23, 2008 3:03 am

I had to come out with at least one mock.

1. Bulls ------ Micheal Beasley
2. Heat ------ Derrick Rose
3. Wolves --- Brook Lopez
4. Sonics ---- O.J Mayo
5. Grizzles -- Anthony Randolph
6. Knicks ---- Jared Bayless
7. Clippers -- Eric Gordon
8. Bucks ----- Danilo Gallinari
9. Bobcats --- Kevin Love
10. Nets ----- DeAndre Jordan
11. Pacers --- Russell Westbrook
12. Kings ---- D.J Augustin
13. Blazers -- Joe Alexander
14. Warriors - Kosta Koufos

I think Bulls go Rose- Heat go Beasley

I think it looks pretty good. Picks 13 & 14 could be changed up a little. I'm not sure about the Blazers but 13 just seems a little too high for Alexander. I think the warriors would prefer Speights over Koufos, at least most fans would (i know that doesn't mean much, but we're speculating here)

I don't think the Bulls will pass up on their number one scoring option by taking Rose. They won't be able to package Hinrich, Gooden and Noce to get that number one scoring option, and that will make Beasley the logical choice. He is just too good to pass up, and he still has alot of developing to do in body and game.

The Alexander pick is the one I couldn't take my eyes off, but at the end of the day, I think the Blazers will draft him, Greene or possibly trade the selection. As far as the Warriors are concerned, I really don't see Nelson passing on the size and offensive skills that Koufos brings to the table.

Jordan is the complete opposite of what the Nets need . Yes he's a big and we need a big but not that kind of big . He can't play basketball , can't shoot free throws , can't shoot at all doesn't know how to play good D without fouling and lacks basketball IQ .

He's really not a player the Nets look to pick .

Lopez will be a safe, don't rock the boat pick for the Wolves. I don't see McHale drafting Mayo or Randolph with the third selection.

The Warriors are in desperate need of a big that can produce. So, it would be surprising to see him pass up on Koufos or Speights.

The Nets could be in store for alot roster changes. But they can't let the chance to draft Jordan slip away. He will have to learn alot, but the rewards are just too high to leave him on the board.

Seriously the risk is WAY too high for the Nets . They need someone who can help the team at least a bit now and Jordan just can't . We need bigs with an offensive skillset when we take a big .

I'm not sold on this guys talent anyway . His talent has nothing to do with actual basketball skills just with the way his body is .

I pretty much rather draft Speights , Alexander but seriously not this guy .

If we had a solid bigmen rotation picking Jordan would make sense but we just don't have that . We can't just pick a guy who isn't ready to help a team in our situation .

The Nets have never picked a guy like that when they drafted and i doubt they start to do that now . Even Sean Williams really played nice in college before he got suspended from BC . This is not how the Nets draft they just don't pick a total project .

Jordan is a rare case. If he went back to school he could probably be a top 5 pick next year. It's always harder on some big men going from high school to college. Brook Lopez had his problems and now he's projected as high as top 3. I don't see Thorn passing on Jordan.

I hope the Bulls make the wrong choice and take Rose.

OR hardly a second rounder .

It looks like he's not even working out for the Nets . That'd mean he's def. not going to get picked by the Nets .

I agree that we are in need of a big man but Koufos is exactly what we DON'T need. We need a banger who can rebound, block shots and play strong defense in the paint. Right now, we have no one to defend the Boozer, Amare, Duncan type players and Koufos is definitely NOT that guy. He's a soft, jumpshooting big.

Speights I love, I would be extremely happy if we drafted him. Koufos...not so much.
