Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Our offense sucked. We need to score more if we want to win which I am confident that we can do. Ginobili and the role players need to step up. Duncan and Parker carried the team for the most part. I think we did an effective job defensively.

But the Spurs' offense sucking wasn't an aberration. The Lakers blew them out in the 2nd half of their last regular season matchup too. And the Hornets did the same thing to them in the last round. Let's not act like it was a one time thing. It's been a problem for them for a long time now.

also you should prepare yourself if it does come true. remember that was only one game out a possible 7 games. I as a Lakers fan do think that there is validity to the Manu=Kobe statement in the sense that when Manu is healthy his impact on any particular game is just as great as Kobes impact. now that is not to say that manu=Kobe on a one on one situation or that Manu skills are on par with Kobes.

I am not looking at the Spurs lose as the Spurs choked, I am looking at it as Manu had a bad game because he was hurt therefore the Spurs lost.

I don't think that's true. Kobe's output is not only measured by stats. When he has the ball he draws double even triple teams as seen in the last play yesterday. This opens up the floor for and creates a competitive advantage for the lakers. Manu is a great slasher, but he does not draw this kind of attention that kobe has. There will probably be games in this series where Manu will score the same as kobe, but overall output and effect on the game will never be the same. Kobe also brings it on defense which is not measured in stats. There's just too many things that kobe effects in the game that I feel Manu on his best night could not match. But that's just my .04 cents :D I'm over it. Just want the next game to start already.

The key to Spurs victory is Tony Parker, when he drives and creates, the other players get involved because it breaks down Lakers defense. If Tony is kept out of the paint, look for a Lakers surge!

Tony with pick n rolls and pick n pop is very effective, Lakers have to eliminate that in order to win the series!

And the ref whining has really gone off charts! It's not even the Spurs fans (most of them) who are complaining, it's the Lakers/Kobe haters coming in here and crying like little girls because they THINK Kobe pushed off and blah blah blah Gasol fouled blah blah blah and Manu got hit by a truck on the last play blah blah blah even though he's Euro b-baller blah blah blah!!!

On a side note, I wonder How HarlemHeat must've felt after Lakers came back down 20 :D :D
