What's the best case scenario for Michael Beasley and his NBA potential?

Carmelo Anthony's scoring style and ability, strong rebounder at the 3-4, won't ever anchor your defense, but has the strength and athletic ability to be a great man defender at either the 3 or 4 spots.

Should be able to score from anywhere inside the arch, can post up smaller guys with ease, drive past bigger forwards, come off screens and hit jumpers, slash straight to the hoop, and even spot up and hit an open 3.

I'd say a rich man's Jamison as far as a lot of his skills go--but yeah, more with Melo's style.

Better version Antawn Jamison. As good a player as Carmelo Anthony, perhaps without the hype though.

Best case scenario? Barkley, but 3 inches taller.

^Dirk has never been known for his post-up offense.

BEST CASE? I'll say what Derrick Coleman was in his prime, not DC's PO-tential.

I just think Beasley is nothing but pure hype IMO, I expect him to be a nothing like advertised. Basically a pretty good scorer and it ends there.

I think Jamison is a very safe prediction..not really a best case scenario.

I think BEST CASE is hes like Amare..hes not gonna score the same way Amare does, but i think he can score as much as him with the same rebounding numbers.

I think most like hes like a David West...

A bigger Carmelo Anthony

Never thought about Jamison with him before, that's a good kind of scenario for him, also (more athletic).

I like the comparison of DraftExpress:

Amare meets Antawn Jamison.

Face up post game of Amare with freakish athletic ability for his size combined with ability to make shots in the post or extend you on the perimeter a la Jamison. Not to mention a better rebounder than both.
