The Knicks just became a very interesting trading partner possibility for the Warriors but a lot will depend upon where they end up in the draft. Kevin Love at #5 is absolutely ridiculous, though, and I'm curious as to how much of him you've been able to watch?

Baron and Al might net Marbury and Malik Rose plus the pick, but not David Lee. More importantly, we are unlikely to be in a position to trade Baron for a draft pick, only for a drafted player, because of his option timeline.

The Knicks would be thrilled to get both Baron + Al for whatever raw freshman goes #5...that we eat the curse...or Contract nightmares that are Marbury and Rose....don't demand one real tested asset..they'd have a parade with balloons and floats.

From Chicago, I want Ben Gordon or Hinrich and Tyrus Thomas/Luol Deng.

Gordon and Deng are both going to be BYC this summer, assuming they reach extensions, and Paxson (our GM) is highly unlikely to move Deng regardless.

Before seeing this thread, I'd thought about Hinrich + Tyrus + the 9th pick for Baron. If we could get it done for just Hinrich & Tyrus, I'd be thrilled.

Question for GS fans - if Baron wants out and your front office does a S&T, do you expect they'll be looking to clear out other long-term salaries as well (ie: Harrington & Jackson)? Is it going to be a monster deal to get younger and rebuild, or just S&T Baron and get as much as you can?

Hinrich and Noah might sell....Tyrus is redundant since we have a skinny young PF in Wright already. I'm not that stoked on Hinrich. He sort of peaked early and backslid this year. Since the Bulls have to count on Noah at C,they'd probably need to offer Deng. Actually- I doubt Baron is traded unless Nellie is definitely retired.

Hey y'all, here is a rarity...I live in San Lorenzo, but I am a Raptors fan...but I watch the Warriors everytime they are on, on CSN Bay Area.

I'm following this Baron Davis thing, and it sounds similar to the Vince Carter situation w/ the Raps 2-3 yrs. ago....trust me man....you don't want a disgruntled superstar entering next season. B. Dizzle may be asking too much money, and I hope you guys come to an agreement on the contract.

BUT look at the Raptors situation...we have 2 pgs. in Ford and Calderon, and *IF* BD were to get traded....I'm sure Mullin will look our way for either PG. And seeing as how, Don Nelson compared Ford to Nash or made it sound that way, would you trade for T.J. Ford? He would be perfect under Don Nelson's system..and has a lot of potential.

Monta Ford back-court = midgets.

Monta needs some beef next to him to be the special back-court.

Ford's OK, but not for us.

Raptors we need = Parker, Delfino, Garbajosa, Moon, Bosh.

Bad fit Raptors = Bargnani (sissy), Calderon , Ford, Kapono (contract sucks donkey balls)

They shoot a lot and could run with the right point guard to run the show. Baron could chuck all he wanted and fit in. When not chucking, Baron could penetrate and kick.

Now... if someone can get Orlando to actually believe that...

As a Magic Fan I would offer Nelson and Turk 4 B diddy

Orlando is definitely one of teams that could use BD but I think the W's FO will explore all options IF the W's do choose to deal BD.

I like Turkoglu but any deal with Orlando, they have to take on Harrington. If the Magic threw this year first round pick,Jameer Nelson and or Cash, I think the W's might consider this deal.

Okay...now that BD has made some inquiries to other teams interested in him, New York is not BD's real destination of his choice. I'm thinking its the Clippers or even the Lakers as his two top choices... There is however two eastern team, that I might send him to...The New Jersey Nets or the Boston Celtics.

For Boston, a Baron for Ray Allen works. W's get one of the best shooters in the game and Boston gets a more proven PG in BD.

For New Jersey, I'd at least want Devin Harris and Sean Williams. I dunno if we want VC or RJ...

Ray Allen is garbaggio. Hands off the old fossil that is due to make 36M over the next two years.

I think that Jersey is happy with Devin Harris and Marcus Williams for now. They really dont need to bring in a PG, especially a vet due to make a lot of cash next year.

I see the Cleveland board is interested in Baron. They don't have much I'd want, but how about:
Baron for Snow, Smith, Jones, #19 and Cleveland's 2011 1st unprotected.

I know that the critics were bashing the draft day trade last year because SG historically break down around 32.... but I had no idea he'd be so ineffective during the post season.

what in the world are they going to do with this guy for the next two years?
