Assuming we're counting Oden as a rook, my teams would be:

Rookies:
PG - Rose
SG - Mayo
SF - Gallinari
PF - Beasley
C - Oden

Sophomores:
PG - Conley
SG - Nick Young
SF - Durant
PF - Noah
C - Horford

Rooks are obviously more skilled (mostly because you take the #1 pick from the 2007 draft, and have him play on the rook team), but I think the Sophs still win the game, because they're more experienced.

PG: Conley > Rose (Especially in an all star game where defense is not a factor, but I'd probably take Conley over Rose for just next season anyway.)
SG: Stuckey > Mayo
SF - Durant > Galinari
PF - Young < Beasley
C - Horford = Oden

Bench
Young < Fernandez
Thornton > Splitter

Hence, sophomore blowout as usual.

I think you are reeally underrating the rookies. If it's an all-star game where defense really doesn't count and Conley>Rose, then why is Stuckey>Mayo, Mayo is the better offensive player?

Second, Rose is and will be a better player then Conley, not a doubt in my mind. Obviously Durant>any SF the rookies have, and Beasley>any PF the sophomores have. I'd say you're pretty accurate iwth the Horford=Oden, although in a game I'd probably give a slight edge to Oden.

Rose > Conley
Mayo > Stuckey
Galinari < Durant
Beasley > Young
Oden => Horford

Oden = Horford?

Rewatch the championship game from a year ago, or did we forget already?
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

Sophs will win in a blowout like they almost always do, Oden or not.

Thank you.

Even the 2003 Class with Lebron, Wade, and Carmelo got their behinds whipped.

This game does a big job of showing the difference a year makes.

Rookies will get destroyed as usual (especially off the bench)

I really, really can't see the rookies EVER winning a rook-soph game. The Sophs are just more conditioned to the NBA and besides, the 07 draft class was straight up better than this one. This draft class is majorly overhyped and at the beginning of next season I'm pretty sure all of you will be calling this draft a bust as well.
