Why hasn't Lebron been on any video game covers?

He was on the cover of Vogue. What else do you want from him?

Probably something to do with his agent or something.

Lebron is the type of player who is too big be on the cover of Live or 2k. More than likely he's going to get his own kind of game. And since the NBA hasn't made any deals with specific game companies(ala Madden) it could be a licensed one too. Remember Kobe had his own game too. If Kobe wins it all this year, you can guarantee he'll be on the cover of one the games next year, with the job he's done of repairing his image.

NBA JAM will still be remembered and always be a classic compared to anything that's coming out these days.

I believe I read that he was a candidate to be on Live, but he wanted too much money so Arenas got the cover.

I heard 2k and live were trying to both get him, but like most cover athletes who get around 250k, he was demanding 1 million. He wants too much money.

**Numbers may not be exactly correct.

Lebron is too good for a video game cover, he really doesn't need more publicity. I always thought the majority of players on covers were up and coming players trying to gain popularity.

Soon I bet Lebron James wont be in any videogames and its just gonna be "Foward, Cavs" as the player name.

I remember that game, it was a sim game instead of the 'real' NBA Jam, but I still loved the hell out of it.

They gotta get permission and pay that player an x amount of money to put on their cover. Lebron is the most marketable player in the NBA u can place him in the crappiest game ever made and it will sell like hotcakes. Whatever game he gets placed on u can be sure that hell want to get alot of money for it cuz itll sell.
