If Iverson were to leave, I would think the only team he would want to play for would be the sixers. That's where his heart is.

Would be a great fit. Almost like a dream return. He'd have the PG to run the team in Dre. Miller and an athletic bunch to rebound and defend better than the Nuggets do.
Get Hinrich in Denver, then AI and Melo will look terrific together.
Trade between Denver and Chicago with Hinrich and Iverson being the main pieces. Obvioulsy not a straight swap in terms of talent / salaries but both players are somewhat expendable by their respective franchises.

If Chicago choose Rose with the first, then an undersized 2 like AI wouldn't look too bad in that backcourt imo.

Denver gets a badly needed PG and Chicago gets a go-to scorer.

A return to Philly wouldn't be out of the question either.

This pretty much nails it imo.

If we look at Iverson's past team success it was a team that let him do all the scoring and he had defenders all around him.

That Sixer team had role players that liked to play defense; Eric Snow, George Lynch, Dikembe, Tyrone Hill, Raja Bell

I could see Houston working out with Yao and McGrady but they would need to make these trades:

Rafer for Hinrich
Scola for Reggie Evans
Luther Head for Keyon Dooling

Projected starting lineup

G Hinrich
G Iverson
F McGrady
F Battier
C Yao

Bench Reggie Evans, Keyon Dooling, Dikembe, Chuck Hayes

Iverson, McGrady, Yao handle all the scoring and the rest of the guys will defend the crap out of everyone else......
I'm so tired of the typical......

If he opts out in hope of singing somewhere for a chip . . . I'd see him at least moving it to the East Coast again. . .It's hard to say how the conferences will size up next season (With the draft, Free agency, trades, etc) but I mean. . .East still looks like a safer (easier) bet.

I think he'd fit in with Orlando pretty well.

Nelson
A.I.
Turk
Lewis
Dwight

Sixers would be my second guess. . .I'd think A.I. would perform better with a strong 3pt SF though. . Iggy struggles with his shooting ability. . .Miller, AI, a shooter, and then Evans and Sammy D underneath could be a great line up. . somone for Miller and I to pop back out to from drives. . .Mike Miller. . .Stephen Jackson. . .Peja. . .

Not that those guys could be moved to Philly(I don't know). . .Just saying. .

If A.I. would wannareturn to philly. . would you keep Iggy there or sign and trade for (What I feel anyway) would be a better 3 fit?
