I don't see it happening, the only things the Jazz need to be real contenders are a defender in the paint and a good shooting guard, and I don't see how they get either through this trade.

Incorrect. Marion's a $17 million expiring next offseason. If the cap is set at $60 million next offseason, which appears to be a realistic number, Miami should be looking at somewhere around $17 million in cap space, and that's figuring in space for our lottery pick and Dorell Wright.

This reminds me of that one offseason when it was known that KG owns a mansion in L.A. It's not gonna happen. He is staying in Utah.

So Melo isn't worth the #1-2 pick on this draft and a one-year-to-be-free-agent Boozer is? And someone suggests is a steal for Miami?

I was watching video of Michael Beasley in college, and IMO this guy is nowhere near 6'10. The guy looks like a 6'7/6'8 small forward out there tops. Where is this coming from? I think he'd be better suited for the 3 in the NBA. Boozer looks a lot taller than this guy. Marion/Haslem for Boozer would be great as it leaves Miami with a lineup of...

PG - Banks
SG - Wade
SF - Beasley
PF - Boozer
C - Blount

..and that's without further offseason acquisitions. Puts Teh Heetz in a good position for the future. But does this mean that Boozer being moved is a legit possibility this summer?

If Miami waits for boozer next offseason though, they will have Beasley and Boozer as two power fowards, unless Beasley can move to the 3, which is still a question. If Miami can get Marion, Boozer, wade, and some role players, they could contend next year as probably a top 3 team in the east. They will have 60 about 17 million in cap space next year if they renounce marion but they will only have 8 guys under contract. Its really a question of whether miami wants to rebuild quick and get rid of blounts contract, or take a chance on beasley. I doubt Utah would trade Boozer for expirings to Cleveland bc his contract would be off the books anyway if he leaves, so why would you want expiring contracts?

Make no mistake, CeCe Boozer wears the pants in that family. If she is already living in Miami, there is no doubt she is going to get Carlos to sign there, because where do you think she would rather live? If I were the Jazz I would try to trade him as soon as possible so they at least get something unlike with the whole Boozer-Cavs debacle.

Beasley = ?
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."
