RJ-for-Beasley Multi-Team Trade

Post#1 » by ecuhus1981 » Sun May 25, 2008 8:57 pm

If you had an opportunity to move RJ and our '08 1st-round picks for Beasley, would you do it?

I made this proposal today, and I was hoping to get feedback from fellow Nets fans. Let me know specifically about how you feel about the Nets section, but feel free to share your thoughts on the trade as a whole.

Please reply in that thread, not this one. Thank you.

I would do the trade you mentioned in that thread. The problem is that it is absolutely dreadful for Golden State.

Well, would keeping Swift help GS enough to do this deal? That would save them some $, if they don't need him.

As a nuclear option, I also think the Nets should consider re-routing Banks to NJ, and sending Marcus to the Warriors.

I think at a bare minimum you have to get Banks elsewhere and a prospect/pick going to Golden State for them to consider it.

The idea is very good, but you need to get banks in their like DJ mention. Underneath it all you made Mia a super power. With them having a great shot for LBJ.

Marbury
Wade
RJ

Miami doesn't trade that pick for anything less than a superstar. Including Marion doesn't cheapen the price...

Of course but it's never gonna happen. RJ is my favorite net but his value isn't nearly that high. Mayo would have to slip to 10 for that trade to work.
