BEST PLAYOFFS IN YEARS

Post#1 » by darbstar » Tue May 27, 2008 4:37 am

I have totally enjoyed this years playoffs and believe its been the best in years!

To firstly have Spurs v Suns in the first rd was fantastic
to have the hawks take the Celtics to 7 games and the 76's take it to the Pistons

Hornets v Spurs was superb

Lakers have been great

and the final 4 teams, whoever makes the final will be awesome

who agrees?

Pretty cool. Glad the lakers are relevant again.

It has been okay. I still think 2006 was the best the last 5 years.

The first round was awful, bit the rest has been pretty good. I wouldn't call it the best in years though.

These playoffs have really been boring 2004-2006 were all better, 2007 was at least as good if not better. The only reason people aren't complaining about this years playoff is because the popular teams (Celtics, lakers) are good again

Frankly, I've been bored out of my mind for most of these playoffs.

In the 2nd round and 3rd round the home teams are like 25-2 now aren't they?

2006 wasn't that great. This years have been great, but the expected winner has come out of every series.

what the hell has made this year so great? theres been like 3 or 4 good games so far. just because a series goes long doesnt mean the games are good, most of them have been fairly lopsided

2006 playoffs were horrid aside from a couple games. There wasn't one memorable moment from the east (weren't the bucks playing that year?) and the west was just as bad. The only good note from that post season was Dallas choking away the finals and ruining Mark Cuban's parade.

This years playoffs have been great. Atlanta scaring Boston, CP vs TP, Kobe channeling Jordan, soulja boy vs jay-z, and to top it off 4 true powerhouse teams in the conference finals. You guys can hate if you want but these playoffs have been great.

This is a loaded question. Everyone who's teams didn't perform well are going to say that these playoffs sucked. Those teams that are still in it are going to rave about how "this is the best playoffs ever."

They've been alright so far. The Western 1st round was obviously a disappointment, but there's been some nice series: BOS/ATL, UTH/LAL, and SAS/NOH were all great series.

Not really, my Pistons are still alive and I think the playoffs were kind of average this year. 2006 wasn't that great either. Personally 04 was my favorite this decade. Classic games, two all time moments (Fischer's three, Reggie getting blocked), finals shocker. Good times. Course I'm biased.

Is the 06 playoffs better because of the first round?
