OT:Locking every topic.

Why? I see no reason for Melo discussions to be limited to page 20 of a non-specific thread when it's far and away the most important thing going on with the team this offseason

essentially every one that i lock is a trade suggestion.

another teams fan coming here and creating a new thread about trading melo for picks and cap space or what have you.

this isn't the trade board. i'm not going to tolerate having the board fill up with those threads all summer. almost all team forums do this (create a specific thread designated for trades)

some may think melo in trade discussions is an important summer topic....but if anyone thinks logically about it for a bit, he's not going to be traded. it's really not as big of a deal as the realgm headline and some have made it out to be.

And generally, we'd like to have discussion on something else, and at this rate, the entire first page of this board would be

MELO 2 THE KNICKS

DEN/NJ Trade

Nuggets Clear Cap Space

DEN/CHI

Who would we rather trade Melo to? LAC/MEM?

It makes the board look like ****. When there's some kind of substance beyond a RealGM user posting a trde that they thought of, then sure, it can have a separate thread. The DEN/NJ thread got plenty of posts.

Personally I think you guys are doing a great job with it because we dont need so much clutter and useless threads. Keep up the good work.
