Who's better right now? Lamar Odom or Caron Butler?

This is a hard choice.. I'll go with Odom because he does so many things on the court (when his head is on tight).. The guy can also play the 5 positions on the court.. he's a unique player.. No knock to Caron who's a great player also, but I think Odom's versatilitly makes him a better player in my eyes..

Butler is one of the best players in the NBA and Odom is a good one, but not at all near the same level.
I don't think so. Butler is definitely better at being a SF and he's a better scorer but Odom creates so many missmatches and he's better on defense.
I'd say they're about even as players. I'd take Butler without hesitation next year though with Bynum.

better player? butler
dude has evolved to a whole different player...
I would take odom for hte lakers because..he can play so many postiosn...like in this case..if one center goes down odom can play that position..while butler couldnt...i sure as hell wouldnt want this lineup
fisher,kobe,butler,rad,gasol....the laker lineup right now is alot better...especially when ariza gets into shape..

Hmm....I think this is a lot closer than some are suggesting. If you need a #2 scoring option than Butler is clearly the choice, although if you don't then I think you probably take Odom.
On the whole I give an edge to Butler simply because he's more consistent. But when Odom is in top form he's one hell of a player.
