If I had to pick an intro for the opposition
I'd go with either Death From Above 1979 - Turn it Out
or Metallica - Enter Sandman.

I would suggest "Mama Said Knock You Out" by LL Cool J, while looping the video clip of Robert Parrish punching Bill Laimbeer the f@#% out. Memories.

lmfao. listen again in game 6. he does say something along those lines, but its not excluding Boston from "the greatest athletes in the world" comment. I think it might just be that line without the "but". It really makes a difference.

I agree there's a line and some of these teams are crossing the line of good sportsmanship but really is it any surprise considering the world we live in? In America as long as you win you can pretty much do and say whatever you want. How come stern is worried about fireworks but isn't worried about out of control mascots, announcers and public displays that are in poor taste? He makes the players wear nice clothes but allows the fans to be as abusive as they want .

Detroit is so classless for wearing red, white, and blue!
They're trying to make all the opposing teams look unpatriotic!
and the annoying announcer, Mason, even suggested that they were terrorists!

LET'S SHOOT THEM DEAD.

i dont care.. they are there for the crowd thats fine.. if anything i wish our players would be as sensitive as some on this board, maybe they woul;d play with an edge.:)
having said that, the noly intro i thought was unclassy was in utah a few yrs back when malon returned and they were mocking kobe and karl, now i HATE kobe but that was uncalled for

Classless? Classless would be a video of the opposing team's starting lineup being sucked up into a home team cheerleader's vacuum-like cameltoe. That would be classless/awesome.

I'm pretty sure every team in the league plays Final Countdown at some point.

Ugh... There is nothing classless about their intro, stop embarressing yourselves. Destroying a backboard with the Celtics logo on it is not offensive.

Yup. I find him very annoying as well. I'm just glad the Celts don't have that dude as a PA announcer.

BOOOOOOS-TON BASKETBAAAAALLLL!!!
P-P-P-P-P-P-P-P-P-AUL P-P-P-P--P-PP-IERCE!!!! :nonono: :banghead: :nonono:

If he did work for the Celts, I'd probably have to head on down to the Garden and punch this man in the throat. Thankfully, I only have to put up with him during Pistons games.
