#2 :dontknow:

#'s 1,2,3 - Wright, Rose, Wade

And, #2 and #3 = 23, in essence ~ Rose/Wade

If Earl Barron comes back, I would give him number "43".

Two reports have come out, the day we got the second pick. There was a report the first and second pick, were basically already a done deal. Beasley at one, Rose at two. This new report, by a unreliable source. But when you hear Stephen A Smith saying that Rose doesn't want to play for the Bulls.

There might be a real chance of us landing Rose.

I was getting mentally prepared to get Beasley, but I would rather have Rose. But I was getting used to the idea of Beasley, but am still very happy if this is true. But will not be as dissapointed as before if it doesn't come to fruition

Was about to say....

Some more tidbits on this: Mike Wallace blog on the herald got quotes for Dorsey...

"I've talked to him, and that's where I think he's going to end up," Dorsey said after playing in the opening game of the pre-draft camp on Wednesday. "You watch what I tell you."

Pressed further, Dorsey wouldn't reveal his sources. Which means, he'll fit right in with the rest of the media at camp if this basketball thing doesn't work out. Dorsey has been known for saying some outlandish things. Calling out Ohio State center Greg Oden during last year's NCAA Tournament counts among them. If his statements about Rose and the Heat are true, Miami fans have quite a bit to be excited about. If not, they were worth entertaining to say the least.

When did Rose say he didn't want to play in Chicago?

I would be curious to see the source of that as well.

After the Bulls landed the number 1 pick, immediate reports were that Rose would be very excited to play in his hometown.

He hasn't said it, Steven A Smith said that Rose does not want to play in Chicago earlier this morning on ESPN....

Its not because Dorsey said it, but I too belive the Bulls will draft Beasley. The Bulls are looking for a post player in years now. Beasley is projected to be close to his 20-10 stats in college for the NBA. Beasley is better player in college between him and Durant.

Rose will be our pick.

As stupid as it sounds, this Noah stuff will make them think twice about bypassinga post and then trading a potential PR nightmare. Remember he was difficult for them during the season too.

I too like Beasley than Rose for Miami. But you cannot go wrong either of the two.

I take the Nets trio of Kidd/Jefferson/Carter as the example that is why I love the Heat to draft Beasley.

yup...

IMO its verry simple..you need a great guard and a great big...not just one or the other...duncan has parker, deron has boozer, kobe has gasol, etc.

it IS harder to get a great guard but chi doesnt have one and we do

thats why chi is better off getting that great guard that is so hard to come around and can later get a great big man via trade

mia already has wade hence the need for a bigman..enter beasley

i prefer B-easy
b4 the rumor and still after the so call rumor

Right now B-easy is the better player period

in 03 Wade was the better player ...
you always take BPA in the draft...

I just hope Beasley measure out at 6"8+

OT : Chi fan act as if there only one great player in the Draft.
after read some of the comments about Beasley will be a Bust
to me is just plain Dumb...

Fun facts :
- The Miami Heat surpassed the Knicks in championships
- Only the Lakers, Bulls, Celtics and Spurs have more championships

Return to Miami Heat
