You guys know you had the chance to draft BOTH Sean Williams and Marcus Williams right? Unbelievable.

I doubt you'd be able to get RJ, but you could probably do Diaw for Carter easily. If you motivate him enough he could be that killer the Suns need to take over games at the end. He could play the SF position with Bell at SG, I don't know. He could be the poor mans Kobe to the poor mans Shaq you currently have (todays Shaq IS the poor mans Shaq). Then a healthy Amare, Barbosa could hopefully pick up the slack to vault to championship level......

Why would NJ do Boris for Vince?

Probably cause he's younger, more upside and all that. Nets aren't in any realistic shot of a championship. VC's contract is worse than Diaws. So Nets will want to slash salary. Plus Diaw can play PF and backup RJ at SF. I don't see why they wouldn't do it.

I was thinking that too, but it seems as though he played really, really well after Kidd left, and from what I could gather from briefly skimming the Nets board, fans are still pretty high on him.

I'm just worried about his injury history, and we'd have to include another piece to make the salaries match, so unless we get a draft pick or a prospect back, it wouldn't be worth it for PHX.

Nash/DJ
Bell/Barbosa
Carter/Hill/Tucker
Amare/JaVale McGee
Shaq/Skinner

^^Interesting lineup. It would give us a lot of firepower and another shooter to spread the floor, and who knows....maybe Vince would be rejuvenated by a change of scenery.

Our medical staff would have fun with that lineup though...Nash's back, Bell's general aches and pains, Carter's ankles, Amare's knees, Shaq's everything, Hill's ankles. What a potentially injury-plagued roster, haha.

With a night to mull it over, I'm actually kinda intrigued by what Vince Carter may add to this team...

Not gonna happen... its an NBA Live trade... a video game.

Nets can get much more for Carter first off... maybe a top 10 pick.

Probably Knicks for Marbury (obvuiously with fillers)

Return to Phoenix Suns
