players you'll always remember as playing on a certain team

Post#1 » by Prince187 » Thu May 29, 2008 2:47 am

No matter how long ago or for how long they played for that team , you'll always remember as playing on that team for some reason. As I'm wating the Celtics and Pistons I see PJ Brown and I will always associate with him with playing for the Miami Heat. Just list some random players.

Ron Artest will always play for the Pacers

Jason Williams will always play for the Kings

Kenyon Martin will always be a Net

There's so many other players that I always think of playing on a certain team when I see them . I'll post them when they think of them.

i think more interesting is those players who will always be forgotten as playing for a certain team.

Ewing - Magic/Sonics : always a knick
Hakeem - Raptors : always a rocket
Malone - Lakers : always a jazz

probably Shaq - Suns : always a laker

Sheed and Mighty Mouse are great examples for me because when they were basically in their primes on the Blazers is when I first started watching the NBA. That's the reason I'll always remember PJ Brown as a member of the Heat.

Marcus Camby will always be a Knick

Kurt Thomas will always be a Knick

Mutombo will always be a Hawk

McGrady will always be on the Magic

There are a lot of obvious ones for me... In a way I wish MJ with the Bulls was one for me but the only time I saw him play in person he was a Wizard. I'll kinda shoot for the less obvious in my list.

Ron Harper- Bulls. The '96, '97 and '98 Bulls teams were what got me into loving basketball and most of those players will always remain Bulls in my mind forever. The funny part about Harper is I forget a lot of times he played for the Lakers and I watched that 2000-04 Lakers dynasty nearly as religiously.

Jeff Hornacek- Jazz. Although he played for the Suns and Sixers, I never see him in my mind in anything but a Jazz jersey.

Shawn Kemp- Sonics. Like Harper, I often forget Kemp played for the Cavs and Blazers.

Glen Rice- Hornets. Despite him playing for 3 squads after Charlotte, (and one before in Miami) whenever I think of Glen Rice I think of him in teal.

Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.
