Game 5 Mea Culpa thread

Post#1 » by sully00 » Thu May 29, 2008 4:09 am

Alright this isn't the Victory Cigar thread this is time for some of us to anty up and say my bad. Forgot all the Doc hating craziness he is the coach that is expected but those of you who wanted Ray Allen benched time to show your ass. Those who thought Perk wasn't a starting center stand up. For myself I am giving up the ghost on Sam I am. Call me late to the party but I ready to put Scal in there before Sam.

What a crappy night by the refs as well way to get the soon to be unemployed Joey Crawford off the hook.

There's another victory cigar thread there. If this one is merged with the others, the votes might be lost...

too hard to pick. perk with a big game. kg with 33. allen with a clutch 29. pierce with the unselfish play and an efficient 16. rondo with 13 assists.

I figured when you started your thread the other one didn't exist yet. Oh, and I can't merge anything anymore, as I'm not a mod anymore.

I hadn't even realized about my "achievement". Thanks for the props, and congrats to you too. (Not sure what's so great about spending so much time here, though... :))

^Done

If a mod could zap that poll when they get a chance that would be great.

I voted for Ray. He carried us the second half. best game in a long time. Perk carried us the whole first half.

Crawford is who we thought he was! And we let him off the hook!

I'm giving the trophy to Big Perk (or, as the quickly-becoming-a-cult-favorite JVG coined him, "KP43"). His block on Maxiel was even bigger than KG's dunk on Ratliff. Ray loses out by the skin of his teeth, but had the play of the game with the big jumper with a minute left.

Cassell wins the "ashes and butt" award. No need to elaborate.
