Apparently, he's available. How come there's no mention of him to the Sixers? If you look past his defensive deficiencies, he's everything they need in a SG and go to scorer.

Given his role on the Bucks, I think Milwaukee is going to want too much in return. Combined with his big salary, defensive limitations, etc, I think Redd isn't worth it.
If acquiring a veteran shooter is deemed a priority, I think somebody like Mike Miller can give you 2/3rds of Redd's production for about 1/3rd of the cost.
PS: Obviously I'm pulling those fractions out of the aether, but I'm sure folks get the general idea presented here.

I hate Redd's deal, so the only way I take him on is if it's part of a S/T with Iguodala. If Iguodala wants/gets a contract starting at about 11 mil for yr 1, then I don't want him back. If we can send Iguodala, Willie Green and Evans to Milwaukee for Redd and Yi (I would also consider Charlie V., but prefer Yi), then I consider it. That would not be adding any salary next year and it would dump 2 long term deals that I don't like in Green and Evans.
I would really like to deal Iguodala for someone other than Redd so the above is not my first choice. Just saying I would consider it if the alternative is signing Andre to a huge deal.

Who knows. New GM there....previous GM loved him, who knows how the regime feels about him. I know the owner really backed that pick too so I guess it's possible he's off limits, but can't hurt to ask. I still think he has the talent to be productive player (at least as good as Charlie V.)
