Kobe has no character. Celtic Pride wouldn't exist if he was on the team. I'm very happy with the team the way it is, so there's no way I would do it.

Why would the Lakers do this trade?

Kobe is a very good player but I don't want him here because he is a Laker. He won them some titles. I want players who haven't won anything. I would rather take Lebron over him and Duncan.

Did you miss what was going on before the season and the start of the season? If things didn't go so well for the Lakers he would be raising hell or would have already been traded. Of course he wont be playing for another team since they have gotten things together now.

I'd trade Cassell for him. One selfish mother **** for another. Actually, they can both go **** themselves on the Clippers.

I would reluctantly trade Scalabrine for Kobe...

...but only if the Lakers threw in an unprotected 2010 first round pick and Coby Karl.

Kobe's great but in the past PP has played well against him. I can't wait for the finals..

This thread is a joke. Kobe is 3X better than anyone on the celts. You guys wouldn't trade for him but would still chant MVP!! for him in your own arena...... Good Job!

Now would be a good time for you to repent your past sins and become a Celtics fan. Come closer to the light.

Closer closer; bathe in the green warmth. There. Don't you feel better now?

Oh h*ll yes I'd do that trade, 100 times out of 100. Kobe + Pierce + KG = at least 3 consecutive titles.

P.S. Were the few of you guys who said "no" trying to be sarcastic/funny? Because if not, wow........

Do the ESPN boards hate Kobe? I think the realgm boards overrate Kobe a bit (not too much, he is one of the best in the league), but this trade is still ridiculously one-sinded.

Still though, considering Chris Wallace's incompetence as a GM, the Lakers would be better with Fischer/Ray/Odom/Gasol/Bynum than what they started this season with.

Would the Lakers trade Odom, Turiaf, Walton, and a 2nd round pick for Garnett?
