Redick

I'm good with it. When I saw the article Philly needed a sharp shooter..I knew this thread will be coming lol. But your dream will make Sixer fans laugh. But I'd think the 1st one is doable.

Can't see Philly doing the 1st one and the 2nd one would never happen.

I'd rather do just Redick for 17 if that's possible.

Philly would want to take the 17th out of that first trade.

Evans > Redick.
17th > 22nd.

Makes no sense for them, even if they would like a shooter.

It gives them more cap space.

It depends how one defines "better."

Redick is paid ~2.5M a year. Evans is paid just under 5M a year (and is locked in for another three years). Evans scored 5ppg in >20 mpg played last year. He is a career <5 ppg in 20 mpg played. Lat year his FG% was 44% and his FT% 47%. (Career 47% and 51%, respectively).

For all the defensively liabilities Redick brings, Evans brings the same liability problems on the offensive side.

In the end, this trade cannot happen simply because it is against the cap. It would take salary wise a Reggie Evans + Jason Smith for Brian Cook + J.J. Redick (plus whatever draft picks are to be considered.

Wow, I didn't realize Evans made so much. Doesn't seem so good of a trade for us anymore.

I like the first one alot. Though it doesnt seem to be of an equal value meaning we will get the much better end of it. We will have to give them a future 2nd rounder as well or something. But Id do it right away.

what about reddick for a jason smith and 2nd round pick, reddick will never play and smith is a decent big man with an outside shot.

Salary restrictions aside, I would do Redick for Evans straight up.

Moving up five spots in the process is only icing on the cake.
