Monta Ellis, Lenadro Barbosa and Devin Harris would kill Lebron in a dead sprint...
Anyone else miss Rookie LeBron compared to LeBron right now?

Off topic but Lebron is waaaaaay too tall to ever be an exceptional linebacker. There are serious leverage issues with being over 6'4 or so in the NFL unless you are a lineman or a WR.
Ehhh he wouldn't be a traditional LB but he can definitely play the outside in a 3-4, where he's basically just a standup DE. Somewhat like Jason Taylor(6'6").

I prefer Rookie Lebron not for his game, but because he was a newcomer to the league. He became the face of the league and handled the pressure extremely well. He was one of my favorite players.
But as he became more prominent, something has turned me off. Certainly, his career has been improving, but I don't like the fact that he's more into marketing himself than about improving his game. I get the perception that the league is trying to protect him as well.
Still the players I like, but I find myself wearing his jersey less and less.

??? You do realize that he called himself "King" James before he even played a NBA game. If that is not arrogant, I don't know what is.
I feel the same sentiment. He might have been arrogant before, but I think that people just realize it more now that he's been in the media so much.
I'm sure most NBA players are incredibly arrogant as well, but they just don't get as much attention as Lebron.
