When it is a great game which can go either way or a blowout?
Personally I rather lose in a blowout, close games break my heart.

Losing close games where my team had the lead has been more painful from experience, since victory was within grasp. I end up repeatedly going over numerous scenarios of what would have happened if a shot had gone in or a turnover hadnt been made.
Blowout losses leave me feeling more frustrated and angry than sad.

to me the perfect margin of loss is about 10 points. it really depends on if you're favored or not. if the grizzlies or timberwolves lost at the buzzer, it means that they played a quality game without the better players, but if the celtics lost by 20, you can just play it off as one of the sh*tty games every team has.
