Greatest coach of all time. Its how the Lakers can essentially get 1 guy and go from average team to WCF champions. Phil makes it work.

Lebron James and Chris Paul are the best players in the league.

Besides that, though. It is easy to overlook the impact the Turiafs', Farmars', and Vujacics' have had. These guys were close to waiver wire fodder before Phil took over a couple of years ago. It's the Lakers depth, and impact of their bench that have catapulted them to the elite status they have now, and likely will have for the next 2-3 seasons (at least)

Guys like Turiaf, Farmar, and Vujacic were in the league in 2001 when Phil Jackson took over head coach of the Lakers and has been the coach since? If these guys were ever "waiver wire fodder" it was while Phil Jackson was head coach. Or are you suggesting he turned them into waiver wire fodder just so he can so his greatness by getting them out?

What 9 finger world do you live in?

Unless you count his Knicks rings. But he was hardly a legend as a player.

What the..?

Jackson took over in 2005.

Since then, players like Farmar and Vujacic have become key role players. Nobody was expecting anything out of them. Bynum was also excelling under Jackcon's watch.

Phil is a great coach. He is my favorite coach. With Brown as a close second. I like how he rarely gets rattled it sets a good example for his players.

Who was the coach of your precious Kobe and the Lakers for his 3 championship rings from 2001-2003 then? And in 2004 when they took 4 hall of famers, Shaq, Kobe, Peyton, and Malone, to the finals to lose to Detroit?

Those 3 were in the nba in 2001? Wow, they must have been hiding or something.

- Ronny Turiaf was the Lakers' 37th overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft
- Sasha Vujacic was the Lakers' 27th overall pick of the 2004 NBA Draft.
- Jordan Farmar was the Lakers' 26th overall pick of the 2006 NBA Draft.

The 2001 part was referring to when Phil Jackson was coaching the Lakers...... You really have to read the post that I was responding to before you chime in..... and it sounds like you missed the sarcastic tone which the question mark was supposed to indicate. So I guess I better show you the entire conversation.
