How good is Rashean Mathis?

How good do you believe CB Rashean Mathis is? Do you think he deserves more recognition? I believe he is without a doubt the best CB in the AFC. Thoughts??

Rashean is a top 3 corner in the AFC for sure. A lot of people always remember the few times he gets burned from a long touchdown and I don't always believe it is his fault. The Jags play a lot of cover 2, which relies on the deep safety help and Darius isn't exactly known for his coverage skills. I'm glady Rashean finally got his well deserved trip to Honolulu.

I consider him a Top 3 CB in the NFL

1.Champ
2.Pacman
3.Rashean

I think Rashean is better than Pac-Man. Pacmans legal troubles hurts his potential IMO

I think Mathis is proabably 2nd behind Champ. I dont think you can say "without a doubt the best" over Champ...

I would say top three or four. Champ is the best and then Mathis, Hall, McCalister and Jones and mixed in with many strengths and weaknesses.

I agree, but I think Mathis will lead the league in INTs this upcoming year

ah i have rashean #2 behind champ..and theres no way d.hall is 3 no matter how much he says it,hes not a top 5 corner, not after how many times he got burned by the saints and hines ward last year and theres not even any top wide outs on those teams.

champ
mathis
mcallister
Asomugha
newman

INT's are nothing realie id rather my corner not get thrown at than have 10 picks like asante samuels
