Eric Gordon. Thank goodness. He can shoot 35% for someone else.

Maybe his willingness to go to OKC is the reason we draft him.

I was going to say something about this earlier. But if the Sonics do end up drafting Gordon, which would be a terrible pick by the way, I think it would just add to the conspiracy that Clay Bennett is trying to alienate the City of Seattle. We don't need someone who doesn't want to come out to our part of the country.

I guess it is settled then. Bennett will take Gordon with #4 and Longar Longar with #24.

I've known quite a few people who say they would never want to live in Seattle, either because they think it rains all the time, or because it's far away from everything, or because they don't like flannel, or whatever. What most of these people have in common is: they have never been to Seattle. I know very few people who have been there and don't like it. So, I was going to get all righteously indignant about Gordon's comments, but then decided I don't care very much, as the poor guy has probably never even experienced the place. I'll be unhappy if the team selects him, not because of his comments but simply because he isn't good enough for the #4 pick.

I should add: regardless of what you think about Seattle, it really is true that playing on the Sonics means you'll log more air miles during the season and probably live farther away from your family than players on any other NBA team. I can't hold it against someone who finds that distasteful.

That's true, most people can say what they want about Seattle. But I was happy to hear that most players in the lottery for this draft and even ones that know #24 may be traded to get back in the lottery love and i mean love the idea of playing for a young team along with Durant and Green.

Unlike Memphis, which seem to be finding it hard to have people come in for individual workouts.

But Lopez and Love are already scheduled workouts and it's not too soon that others will be scheduling their workouts.
