Where in the World is Jim Gray?

Post#1 » by magicfan4life05 » Fri May 30, 2008 9:16 pm

Is he apart of the ESPN Conspiracy (like Bill Walton :( ) to rid the NBA world of all remaining members of that hisotoric NBA on NBC announcing team?

http://realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=792909

Or maybe the NBA just wants to get rid of him because he cried during the brawl in detroit and wants us to forget those memories?

When is the last time we heard from him, does ESPN think we will take this sitting down...NEVER!

I demand answers, I demand honesty, and most of all, I depend integrity!

and also I demand Jim Gray!!

Seriously, whens the last we heard of him? what happened to him?

FREE JIM GRAY!!!!

Its why ESPN Sucks. Its not that hard to put great NBA programming together. Tesh's music thorughout the game. Costas, JVG, and Walton as the crew, with Gray as the sideline announcer. Throw in "Miller Genuine Moments", a half-time, pre-game, and post game crew of Hubie, Hannah Storm, and Chris Webber, and you have an nba broadcast that rivals TNT.

Honestly, he's been a part of some classic interviews. If nothing else, I miss him for that.

He just knew how to say all the wrong things in an interview. I'm surprised he went as far as he did without getting decked.

When Jim Gray's contract was up from ESPN they chose not to renew it and yes he's still unemployed.

Although I'm sure he wish he were still working. He was the one that interviews Kobe all the time and now he'd be extremely busy with the Lakers going to the Finals and all.

I read the article but for some reason can't find the link apparently he was hoping to land a gig but for some reason can't. Not since ESPN had chosen not to renew his contract. I admit I was wondering what became of him.

BTW I'm a girl.
