Tell the truth, did you EVER in your wildest imaginations think it was possible?

And...Garnett passes up a shot, and then misses two consecutive free throws.

Ouch.

Not all Boston fans deserve to be a part of this history. As a Boston resident it was painful to see so many Boston fans who didn't give a damn about the Celtics. Which I am proud of the Celtics, some of the fake Celtics fans should get off the bandwagon.

Even though Doc was a former Knick, I am rooting for his team to lose....

And yes I expected the Celtics to make it this far. When you have Garnett in the east with Pierce, it is almost a given...

Doc Rivers is still a horrible coach...

It should be noted however that if you look at the Celtics sidelines Brian Scalabrine seems to do a better job coaching than Doc Rivers...

More talent than coaching. But adding Tib to his coaching staff sured up his main weakness. Defense. Now its just his pretty bad offensive schemes left. Although with hefty talent running it it has worked.

Doc is the coach but DEFENSE is why this Celtics Team has come so far, they are the best Pick n Roll defense team, they do an amazing job in help and recovery, I just think they are top notch at defense and they have really good man to man defense.

A talented inexperienced young team with an experienced coach (lakers) vs a talented experienced veteran team with an inexperienced coach (Boston). Few exceptions to that obviously, but i think that sums it up.
Sasha Vujacic = The Phail Machine = The Ring Blocker

Trade Sasha before he ruins the Lakers next season.

Doc has his short coming but is no where near the terrible coach people think he is. People act as if he is one of the worst coaches in the league when he is more middle of the pack.

I wouldn't really call the Lakers inexperienced. They do have players like Fisher and Kobe who have been in this position many times before. Even Odom who has had huge games with Miami understands the magnitude of being here. And you know that Phil Jackson is very familar with being here so he will get the team ready.

Boston is experienced too but it comes mostly from their role players like Posey and Cassel. Other than that, the team is pretty foreign to being here.

Doc is not a good coach but he has improved. Look who he had to beat in his run in the playoffs. IMO Doc is better than all 3 of the guys that he had to beat.

Umm...other than Detroit, they beat the teams they were expected to beat but barely...

If anything, this shows to me either the Celtics were sandbagging or they are not as good as most people think they are. And no I am not hating on them (right now).

I agree, and neither does Kobe, a year ago today he was asking to be traded.

it's a serious question, if it's sweat then i wonder if he puts baby powder all over his body because if that's sweat on his face then just imagine how his undershirt/boxers/socks would look like :o

and if it's oily skin then he should keep a little tissue with him or one of those oxy pads.
